Menu Options Explained
FastActivate 1.8.9.0.exe has eight menu options that you can use depending on what you want to update or patch on your TomTom device:
Update meta.txt: This option will download and update the latest meta.txt file from the internet (if the servers are not down). The meta.txt file contains the codes that are needed to activate the maps, voices, speedcams and fuel prices on your device. If you have a new meta code that is not in the updated meta.txt file, you can manually add it to a file named META.TXT and copy it to the same directory as FastActivate 1.8.9.0.exe.
Patch Maps, Voices, Speedcams and Fuel Prices: This option will patch all these files on your device and activate them for use. If you get a \".dct ERROR\" message, it usually means that the meta code for that file has not been released yet.
Patch Navcore (ttsystem or PNDNavigator): This option will patch your navcore file (ttsystem or PNDNavigator) which is needed to use patched maps on your device. This option only works for official navcores that are compatible with your device model.
Patch TomTom HOME: This option will patch your TomTom Home software on your computer which is needed to use patched maps on your device via TomTom Home. This option works automatically and there is no need to search for any files, just wait for it to finish.
RunMeForCode (Create a meta/blowfish code from genuine map): This option will create a meta code from a genuine map that you own and want to share with others. You need to copy the genuine map file to the same directory as FastActivate 1.8.9.0.exe and run this option.
Update QuickGPSfix (Fix your GPS position): This option will update your QuickGPSfix
